Weather conditions:
The 2014 growing season began with a mild and relatively wet spring, encouraging early and even vine development. Summer was cooler and unsettled, slowing ripening and raising concerns over maturity. However, a warm, dry and sunny period from September through October provided ideal conditions for a long, gradual ripening, allowing the grapes to reach good balance and phenolic maturity.

Tasting notes:
Deep ruby in color with a subtle garnet rim. The nose is expressive and complex, revealing ripe blackberry, cassis, red cherry and dried cranberry layered with notes of fig, prune, cedar, cigar box and dried herbs. On the palate, it is dry with high acidity, medium-plus body and fine-grained, well-integrated tannins, offering richness and breadth, culminating in a long, silky finish.

2018 resume

Weather conditions:
The 2018 growing season began with a wet and challenging spring, leading to strong vine growth and requiring careful vineyard management. From July onwards, conditions turned hot, dry and consistently sunny, promoting excellent ripening. The grapes benefited from a long, warm end to the season, allowing for full maturity, concentration and balance at harvest.

Tasting notes:
Deep ruby in color, reflecting both richness and elegance. The nose is powerful and complex, with ripe blackcurrant, plum, blackberry and red cherry layered with notes of cedar, oak spice, dried violet and a touch of cigar box. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and generous, supported by fresh acidity and ripe, velvety tannins, leading to a long, smooth and persistent finish.

2019 resume

Weather conditions:
The 2019 growing season began with a mild winter and a relatively cool, unsettled spring, slightly delaying vine development. From early summer onwards, warm, dry and sunny conditions prevailed, with occasional heat spikes balanced by cool nights, supporting steady and even ripening. These favorable conditions continued into harvest, allowing the grapes to reach excellent maturity with both concentration and freshness.

Tasting notes:
Deep ruby in color with excellent depth and intensity. The nose is expressive and refined, revealing ripe blackcurrant, blackberry and plum, complemented by layers of red cherry, cedar, graphite and subtle oak spice, alongside delicate hints of dried flowers and cigar box. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and structured, combining richness with freshness, supported by lively acidity and ripe, finely textured tannins. The finish is long, smooth and elegant, indicating strong ageing potential.
